LWC- What’s Included

Prework Assignment: Case Study, Business Challenge or Change Initiative

To maximise our first live session, I’d like each organisation or attendee to come prepared with a challenge they face within their business. This challenge should be a real scenario or case study involving resistance to change, and it can pertain to the organisation or one they have worked with.

Session 1: The Change Dilemma – How Human Intelligence Can (and Often Does) Fight The Change Process

We’ll explore the triad of human intelligence—IQ, EQ, and MQ—and their roles in the change process. You’ll learn why MQ is pivotal in enabling change, understand the complexities modern evolution brings to change, and discover how to create the conditions and focus required for impactful change.

In this interactive session, you’ll share your experiences and reflect on how different intelligences have shaped your response to change. Through case studies and envisioning exercises, we will assess the impact of change on your organisation’s dynamics and metrics.

Session 2: The Change Process

We delve into the essence of change, the five critical areas of focus for effective change, the art of prioritising change, and how to align people’s development with new objectives. We’ll also tackle the intricacies of setting expectations and developing supportive reward systems.

The session will also cover the importance of crafting a clear vision for the team or organisation and provide practical strategies for effectively communicating the vision to internal and external stakeholders.

Session 3: Deep Dive into Change and Why it Matters.

Building on your insights from the previous session, you’ll participate in ‘Mapping the Change Pyramid’, setting goals, and formulating a robust change management plan. The session concludes with a group share and feedback, redefining High Payoff Activities to suit the new change landscape.

Participants will gain insights into the characteristics of influential leaders, the importance of asking the right questions, and the value of embracing failure as part of success. Focusing on personal and professional growth, this session will equip participants with the tools and techniques to become better managers and leaders.

Session 4: What it means to “Lead with Change.”

This session will define the top focus areas for leading change, from setting a vision to embodying the role model for change. It’s about developing a culture of accountability and fostering the intrinsic motivation needed for change.

Through mastermind workshops, you’ll practice leading through change, coaching through resistance, and building a learning culture. This is where theory meets practice, and you step into the role of a change leader.

By the end of this course, you’ll have a profound understanding of the necessity of change, be able to assess your organisation’s readiness for it and master the tools and techniques to monitor and guide the change process.
